Note: As of this writing, there are only six (6) collections that have been unlocked. So what are these collections and what particular boost do they offer to the characters? Collections, once completed and formed, will help the survivors complete a certain task easier and faster. In relation to that, Collections fulfill and serve the second purpose that was identified. As the game is highly tied to 1) the characters’ abilities, which include their general health and comfort as well as 2) the availability of certain boost items that will help the survivors achieve a particular task. While those items may be visually pleasing to collect, gathering those items have a practical function for the survivors. Some of these items include flowers, butterflies, crabs, etc.
Amidst trying to survive the isolation and harsh environment of an abandoned island (not to mention ghost appearances too!), one of the things you’d be doing will involve gathering a wide variety of items, which will be used to complete a particular collection in the game.
